Feimster named to UF’s Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute’s Board of Advisors

Carolyn J. Feimster, president of CJF Marketing International, was named to the University of Florida Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute’s (EFTI) Board of Advisors. Feimster joins a distinguished group of leaders from the tourism industry. As a member of EFTI’s advisory board, Feimster will work to establish UF as the premier university for tourism development through the active engagement of the tourism industry in support of the institute and the university’s tourism curriculum.

EFTI is involved in both applied and theoretical research on the future of tourism which supports decision making in key areas of tourism management. EFTI is committed to supporting the initiatives of tourism research and learning centers in the areas of destination marketing and management, crisis management, analytics and sustainability. Established in 1992, EFTI has been committed to excellence in research and has evolved to become a major institute for tourism research in Florida and beyond. It is dedicated to being the premier academic tourism research institute in the country with a focus on contributing to the long-term sustainability of communities throughout global society.
